Words we use
A few things on anymrkt have more than one name. Here is which ones are the same thing.
- Brandalso called Store, Storefront, Shop
- Your business on anymrkt — its name, its web address, its look, and everything you list under it. The seller screens call it your store and the Builder calls it your brand; they are the same thing, and you only ever have to set it up once. One account can hold several, if you run more than one business.Not the same as: Your account, which is you — your sign-in and your details. One account, one or more brands.Go there →
- Listingalso called Item, Product
- One thing you sell: a product, a service, a stay, an experience or something you rent out. A listing can be a draft while you work on it, and goes live when you publish it.Go there →
- Your pagealso called Brand page, Store page
- The page at anymrkt.com/your-name that people see. You make it in the Builder by choosing a template and filling in sections, or by having one built from your listings. Your live listings appear on it by themselves.Not the same as: A listing page, which is one item. Your page is the whole shop front.Go there →
- Web addressalso called Slug, URL, Handle
- The last part of your page’s address — the “hollow-creek” in anymrkt.com/hollow-creek. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Choose it carefully: people will have it written down.Go there →
- Draft and live
- A draft is what you are working on and only you can see. Live is what the world sees. Publishing copies your draft over the live version; until you publish, nothing you change is public.
- Meeting typealso called Appointment type
- One kind of appointment people can book with you — a name, a length, and the hours you are free for it. A farm tour and a twenty-minute phone call are two meeting types.Go there →
- Booking
- Someone has taken one of your times. They get a calendar invitation, and so do you. A booking is not a sale: the page does not take payment for a meeting.Not the same as: An order, which is someone buying a listing.
- Agentalso called MCP client, AI assistant
- Software you allow to act on your brand — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or anything else that speaks MCP. You give it a token, you choose what it may do, every change it makes is logged, and you can undo a whole session.Go there →
- Tokenalso called API key, Access token
- The password you give an agent so it can act for you. It is shown once, it can be revoked at any time, and it only ever covers the brands and the permissions you picked when you made it.Not the same as: Your own password, which no agent ever sees.Go there →
- Permissionalso called Scope
- What a token is allowed to touch — listings, pricing, your page, your schedule. Each one says on the page what it can see, what it can change and what it still cannot do.Go there →
- Payout
- Money reaching your bank. Where it goes is something only you can change — never an agent, and never support.Go there →
- Operator
- An anymrkt staff account. Operators can see enough to help with a problem; they cannot change your payout details.
