Taking bookings
Meeting types, your hours, connecting a calendar, and video links.
Open the SchedulerA meeting type is one kind of appointment: a name, how long it takes, and the hours you are free for it. A day can have more than one window, so a lunch break is just a gap between two.
Connect a calendar and the booking page stops offering times you are already busy. Google, iCloud and Outlook each publish a private address for a calendar — you paste it once. There is nothing to authorise and no password, and we only ever read whether you are free, never what the events are.
Every booking is sent as a calendar invitation to both of you, so it lands in whatever calendar you actually use. You can also subscribe once to a link that carries every future booking automatically.
For video, the simplest option needs nothing at all: we make a private room for each booking. You can also paste your own Zoom or Teams link, or add a Whereby or Daily key if you want a fresh room from your own account each time.
Two people cannot take the same slot. The time is checked again when they press book, and the database refuses an overlap outright.
