Privacy and data use

1. Who We Are
anymrkt is operated by Black Code Enterprises LLC ("BCE," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use anymrkt at anymrkt.com. Questions? Contact us at privacy@blackcodeent.com.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this in our Supabase database to identify your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
2b. Listing & Storefront Data
If you create a storefront or listing, we store the content you provide: title, description, price, images, external URLs, and payment handle (e.g., CashApp tag). This data is associated with your account.
2c. Click & Interaction Tracking
We track clicks on affiliate links and outbound listing links to measure popularity and provide trending data to creators. We record: which item was clicked, the timestamp, and anonymized session data. We do not track individual browsing history across the web.
2d. Demand Gauge Responses
If you respond to a demand gauge ("I'm interested"), we store your response including your indicated price range and likelihood. Your name or email is visible to the listing creator for follow-up. Aggregate anonymized data may be shown publicly as demand signals.
2e. Payment Information
When you make a purchase or connect a bank account for payouts, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment information directly. This may include your credit card number, bank account details, and billing address. Stripe processes payment information on our behalf and provides us with a token to represent your account. anymrkt does not have access to full credit card numbers or bank account details. Your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
2f. Usage Data
We collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This is used for security, debugging, and platform improvement. Logs are retained for 90 days.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate your account and storefront
- To display your listings to buyers on the platform
- To provide creators with click and demand analytics
- To detect and prevent prohibited content, fraud, and abuse
- To send transactional emails (account activity, policy updates)
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.
4. Affiliate Tracking Disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, BCE earns from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon affiliate link on anymrkt, Amazon sets a tracking cookie in your browser that attributes any purchase you make within 24 hours to our Associates account. This is governed by Amazon's own Privacy Notice. We do not receive information about your Amazon purchase beyond aggregate commission reports.
Other affiliate links (e.g., to other platforms) may similarly use tracking parameters. These are disclosed on individual listing pages where applicable.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate anymrkt:
- Stripe — payment processing for purchases and seller payouts (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure (data stored in US-East)
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery (US regions)
- Google OAuth — sign-in authentication (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
- Amazon Associates — affiliate tracking (governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice)
Each third party has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review them for services you interact with.
6. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- With other users — your storefront, listings, and public profile are visible to all users.
- With creators — if you respond to a demand gauge, the creator sees your response.
- With service providers — Supabase, Vercel, and Google as described above.
- For legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of BCE or others.
- Business transfers — if BCE is acquired or merges, your data may transfer to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.
7. Cookies
anymrkt uses session cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember UI preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising.
Amazon affiliate links may set Amazon's own cookies when clicked, which are subject to Amazon's Cookie Policy.
8. Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Listing data: retained while the listing is active. Deleted with your account.
- Click tracking data: retained for 24 months, then aggregated and anonymized.
- Server logs: retained for 90 days.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — update inaccurate personal data via your profile settings
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is sold (we do not sell personal information) and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@blackcodeent.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, Supabase Row Level Security for database access control, and Google OAuth for secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
anymrkt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@blackcodeent.com and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email or in-app notice when material changes are made. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
