Cities, counties and states publish permits, parcels, ownership, sales, zoning, subsidy districts, vacancy, flood risk and roadworks — each in a different shape, on a different server, under a different name for the same field. GRAIL reads them live and puts them on one map.

The account you buy and sell with is the account you use the tools with. No separate signup, no second password.
GRAIL is free and funded by donations. If a tool here ever costs money, it will say so plainly and in advance.
Records are read live from the agencies that publish them, and every one links back to the filing it came from.
