GRAIL
Public-record intelligence and site mapping for property. Built by Black Code Enterprises, sold on anymrkt.
Data
Base map from OpenStreetMap. Imagery USDA NAIP via USGS. Parcels, ownership and sales from county auditors; permits and incentives from city open data. Coverage is deepest in Franklin County, Ohio and thins from there — the interface says so rather than guessing.
Accuracy
Anything traced over imagery is orientation, not survey geometry. County parcel polygons typically differ from deeded acreage by a few percent — quote the deed.
Free, for now
GRAIL is free while it is being built, and the records themselves are public and always will be. What costs money is keeping the lights on and being a well-behaved guest on the agencies’ servers. Chip in via PayPal if it is useful to you. No account, no paywall, nothing gated behind it.
